The academic program will be fully staffed and will have a comprehensive program of studies organized on a rotating schedule. Students are enrolled in three - 60 minute block classes Monday - Thursday. Friday offers a field experience day where students interact with community organizations and members to study and be exposed to hands-on activities and learning experiences.

Students in grades 6-12 have the opportunity to enroll in Chesterfield County Public Schools Online curriculum (CCPS Online). This curriculum allows students to remain enrolled in their home school and receive instruction via CCPS Online Portal with the partnership and benefit of The ARTS Academy Instructional Team. Since the student remains enrolled in CCPS, the student may participate in all sports, organizations and activities associated with their home school. The student’s high school diploma will also be awarded through CCPS. As an additional benefit, CCPS has a  partnership with The Community College Alliance that enables high school juniors and seniors to enroll in freshman courses and earn college credits at local institutions of higher education.
